Is it my skates?

Every weekend I spend at least 6 hrs at the rink. I never usually have problems with my skates but latley I have been getting blisters on my feet. I know it is not my socks because I wear tights. So is it my skates? I have Jackson%26#039;s, is it the skates that are making me blister or is it something else. I have had the skates since Aug. and never have gotton blisters only when they were breaking in.

Is it my skates?
well sometims you might get them becuase you might be learing more jumps or skating more powerfully and your boots will start rubbing against your feet and that causes the blisters. but one way to help if you keep getting them is that you should put band-aids on were you keep getting blisters.
Reply:yes, EVERYONE gets blisters in skating when their skates are breaking in!!!!! mine had the same problem when i got them 2 months ago!! but don%26#039;t worry it just takes about ten days, just put a band-aid on when u sk8!
Reply:The blisters may be caused by friction of your foot rubbing on the sides of your skates. Where are you getting your blisters? It is possible that due to spending a lot of time in your skates, you have stretched them out a bit so now your foot moves more inside the skate. Try Bunga Pads to put in the spots that are getting the blisters, or get round make up sponges (they%26#039;re a lot cheaper, but may not last as long as Bunga Pads). Unfortunately in skating, blisters usually come with the territory until you build up ugly calluses against them. :)
Reply:I%26#039;d suggest getting them molded to your feet. Maybe go to where you bought them and they%26#039;ll mold them for you. They just put them in an oven for 10 minutes and then you wear them around for about 5. I know Scheel%26#039;s did it for me. I don%26#039;t know where else to go. If that doesn%26#039;t work then I don%26#039;t know whats going on.
